"Won't you come into my garden? I want my roses to see you."
Richard Sheridan (1751 – 1816)
Nature is becoming ever more important in todays world. The passion for gardens and gardening is growing. As a very personal approach, I linked the interest in fashion with the passion for gardens.
AQTAEA, a botanical inspired name, coming from Actaea, the baneberry, a plant growing in Europe and Minor Asia, having a wide significance in mythology and medicine.
Inspiration for our fashion is always the plant world. The soft organic with the hard and structured. Tonal colouring touched by some bright colourful „flowers“, very often in unusual colour combinations borrowed from nature. Easy, yet unexpected.
The materials are wool, cotton, silk, linen and innovative cellulose fibers like cupro, tencel, viscose with a strong eye on sustainability.
The collection is sophisticated, pure and modern, fabrics and their touch and haptic are playing a key role. The material and make of the garments are very important. Luxury Ease!
I want a woman to feel good wearing our clothes before she looks into the mirror. Self confident and modern.
Who feels good, looks good!
